After a month, fans are about to see Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6 back to the small screen. At the show's recent WonderCon panel, ABC announced the series' official release date, along with a sneak peek.
May (Ming-Na Wen) is about to face her biggest enemy in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6. In the trailer, the ace pilot gets barreled over by a semi truck that suddenly emerged out of nowhere. Here, a guy who looks like Coulson (Clark Gregg) steps out. However, when he hears the word "S.H.I.E.L.D.," he said he never heard of it.
Would he be Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6's new villain? In the new season's official synopsis, per TVFanatic, it said the group "leaped forward in time to a dystopian future" in the last season. They later realized it must be prevented.
The team would be facing "multiple timelines and new enemies from faraway planets" in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6. But, they would also found new family, friends, and teammates that would give them more courage to deal with their biggest challenge so far.
In Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6, they would understand that "bending the laws of space and time" might have saved the planet. But no matter what they do, it could not save either Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) or Coulson.

Meanwhile, according to Cinema Blend, Quake (Chloe Bennet) would don a new outfit in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6. The 26-year-old star earlier teased her latest costume on Instagram in November. But, the show's costume designer Whitney Galitz gave a much detailed look to her gear.
In a post on Instagram, Galitz said Quake's utility belt is now slimmer, while some of its printed fabric's panels are bigger. The costume still has its iconic elements, but she slimmed down the gauntlets on the arms and never touched its wheels. She only updated Quake's outfit to give her a new but familiar look in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6.
Aside from the new costume, Quake would play a bigger role in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6. Now that Coulson is gone, she has to deal with his absence and the guy who looks like him. There is a big mystery surrounding Coulson's presence and lack thereof, so it will be up for the team how they will handle it.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6 will be out on Friday, May 10, on ABC. The network also already renewed the show for Season 7.
