Lucy Flores does not want the Democrats to nominate Joe Biden for president, and she has called out his inappropriate behavior with women to point out that there are other appropriate candidates for the 2020 presidential elections.
More than anything, the Nevada politician's recent revelations regarding the former vice president Biden's bad touch feels during a certain public event back in 2014 is seen as a potential reason for the killing latter's as-yet-undeclared bid for the presidency.
However, the former Delaware representative has problems with recalling the particular moment referenced by Flores and further professed his absence of any ill or immoral intent in his dealings with anyone while he was on his past campaign and in his "public life."
The former vice president for Barack Obama went on to defend himself saying that, over the years, he has given "countless" physical expressions of his "affection, support, and comfort" but does not believe that he has ever behaved in an "inappropriate" manner.
The 76-year-old politician also added that, if it was being suggested that he did so, he was willing to "listen respectfully," although he pointed out that he had not intended to behave in an offensive manner toward anybody. He suggested he may not have seen the event in the same way that it was interpreted and expressed surprise even at the accusation.
He gave recognition to the present "important time" when women now feel they can freely share "their experiences." He added that to this, "men" ought to "pay attention." He even claimed that he would do exactly that.
The 39-year-old former representative for the 28th district commented on Biden's recent words, saying that these appeared to be an improvement on the earlier statement the latter had released. She claimed she was "glad" Biden was "willing to listen" and that he had explained his intentions.
Flores made a clarification though that her "point" was not about Biden's "intentions" and pointed out that what she revealed was for the "women" who have been on "the receiving end" of such unwanted attentions.
She further made reference to the fact that there have been numerous times in the past when Biden has been accused of acts which have made women feel uneasy. Flores said that her story was not the "first time" nor the "only" instance when the former veep acted "inappropriately" during his dealings with women over the years.
She underlined that if Biden claims that he "never believed" his actions to have been improper then she is of the opinion that there is some sort of "disconnect" there, especially where the latter admits "not being aware" in the light of massive documentation existing in "photos, videos" over the years.
Flores, who openly supports Bernie Sanders as well as Beto O-Rourke who in turn compete in the same arena as Biden, shared that she felt there was a need for her to speak out in order to bring attention to other Democrats who are worthy candidates for the 2020 elections.
