SHINee's Minho talks about his upcoming enlistment on Marine Corps and shared which girl group he hopes will visit. The singer, whose real name is Choi Min-ho, revealed he wanted his labelmate Red Velvet to visit him when he's in the military.

In an interview on SBS's Entertainment Weekly, Minho shared his thoughts about his military enlistment saying he feels very apologetic because of enlisting late. But, the SHINee member added that even though he's going late, he is mentally and physically ready and he believed it is okay for him to go to the Marine Corps.

Minho was also asked which girl group he hopes will visit him he's in the military and he answered Red Velvet. The SHINee member said he would be proud of the girl group came, saying he never asked for a favor but he's hoping Red Velvet would pay him a visit.

After that, the interviewer mentioned some nicknames the singer has earned over the past years including "flaming charisma," "the man who doesn't know what quitting is," and his membership in the passion line of SM Entertainment along with TVXQ's Yunho and EXO's Suho.

Minho said they try their best until the end and he thinks their personalities are similar in some ways. The SHINee member said he likes sports and plays two to three kinds of sports. He added he couldn't fall asleep if he does not exercise as he needs to use all his energy in his body so he can sleep very well.

Previously, Minho confirmed he was accepted into the Marine Corp and would be enlisted on April 15. He applied back in January and received the final acceptance on March 21, and he will reportedly be enlisting at the Marine Corps training center in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province. Minho was the third SHINee member to enlist in the military, following Onew and Key - each of who released albums prior to their enlistment.

Meanwhile, Minho presented his first solo release "I'm Home" via SM on March 28. The music video features the singer who seems to be on the verge of exhaustion, but the end of the clip revealed he's been contemplating to propose to the person he loves. The SHINee member also held an encore fan meeting on March 30 before his military enlistment and he surprised everyone by performing Charlie Puth's "Attention," as well as his bandmates' most famous solo tracks - Key's "One Of Those Nights" and Taemin's "Move".
