For better or for worse, the family will always be around. And for every character in STAR Season 3, it seems that the next episode will show more of the characters' familial side.
As every fan knows it, the previous episodes of the series have become problematic and dramatic. Many critics sought that the show cannot or would not deliver a non-dramatic episode every time it airs on television. Although there is enough fact about this notion, the upcoming episode of STAR Season 3 might somehow balance the tune and theme of the show.
About the official synopsis, it seems that there will be a lot of guest stars who will appear in the show. And these guest stars are not entirely new faces at all. As it happened, they are the returnees who played roles that are equally essential to the show.
For one, Patti LaBelle, who plays the role of Miss Christine will be back in town once the next episode arrives. And based on the outline, it has been revealed that she will be accompanied by Cousin Duke and Cousin Rashad whose roles are played by Glenn MaGee and Major, respectively. But as for a reason behind, there is little to no information about their return.
On another note, Harold Perrineau, who plays the role of Noah's father, Bobby, will also make an appearance on the next episode of STAR Season 3. In his return, it has been revealed that he is there to help Noah about his current challenges.
Although these characters are known to make an appearance now and then, there is no confirmation if they will all stay until the current season ends. But even so, the upcoming episode, Lean On Me, will be all about family.
Aside from the familiar faces, there will also be new ones who will make an appearance come to the next episode of STAR. Amber, a newcomer who will compete against Simone and Alex for the upcoming ASA performance, will be played by Erika Tham. So, it only goes to show that there will be more singing and performing as well.
Alongside the newcomer Amber, Leon, who is played by Kia Shine, will also be a part of the Lean On Me episode as she will make Cotton an offer. But as for the details of this offer, fans may just need to wait for STAR Season 3 to air on April 17, on FOX.
