In a few months, fans are going to see what will happen to Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Will (Noah Schnapp), and the rest of the gang in Stranger Things Season 3. In an interview with David Harbour, who plays as Jim Hopper, he teased what viewers are going to expect in the new season.
"These Duffer brothers never cease to surprise me with their willingness to take risks," Harbour said, via Den of Geek. "There's a whole new pallet to season 3."
In Stranger Things Season 3 trailer, Hopper got a new look with his mustache. Harbour also teased there would be a lot of new risks for the cast, but it would be told in "amazing storytelling."
Harbour continued to say there would be big surprises in Stranger Things Season 3. As the Hellboy star couldn't say much about the new season, he just hinted it would be one "hell of a ride."
In a different interview, Harbour revealed he already knew how Stranger Things would end. "I know the end of the series, and it's beautiful," he told Digital Spy.
However, he is not sure if the show will run for five seasons, but he is certain four seasons are not enough. "I think five is maybe enough," he said. Executive producer Shawn Levy earlier revealed that series would at least have four seasons, while the fifth season is still in consideration.
Meanwhile, Stranger Things Season 3 would be the last summer of the gang as young kids. The group is now dealing with growing up with their new complicated relationships. Unfortunately, they, too, are starting to fall apart and it may ignite conflict, per Radio Times.
Levy earlier said Stranger Things Season 3 would deal with new forces of evil. But, Duffer brothers teased that the usual Upside Down monsters would still be in the scene.
Although they managed to close the door on the Mind Flayer, the creatures were still in the Upside Down and aware of the kids' activity, especially of Eleven. Now that the beast knew that Eleven was out there after their encounter in the previous season finale, the Duffer brothers might put an end to this side of their storyline in Stranger Things Season 3.
Stranger Things Season 3 will be out on the exact day of the Independence Day in the USA. On July 4, Netflix will drop its entire eight episodes at once.
