It has long been confirmed there will be Tangled: The Series season 3, but there have been no further details since then. So now, viewers are wondering whether the animated series will arrive on Disney Channel this 2019 or not.

Tangled: The Series, which is an adaptation of the movie Tangled, is created by Shane Pigmore and Chris Sonnenburg and co-produced by Benjamin Balistreri. The show has been a hit for Disney Channel as well, as the first season becomes the number one animated series on the channel among girls aged 9-14, with 40 million viewers, as reported by Deadline.

The first season of the show was called Tangled: Before Ever After, while the second installment was changed into Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. The renewal of the animated series was given a green light by Disney, but the release date of Tangled: The Series season 3 was not yet confirmed.

However, reports suggest the third installment will arrive this 2019 and Otakukart noted it might probably be out in June or July of this year. It can be recalled the second season premiered in June 2018, so it's possible the upcoming installment will air around the same month.

The cast members of Tangled: The Series includes A Walk To Remember star Mandy Moore, she portrays the role of Princess Rapunzel - long lost princess of Corona. Shazam! star Zachary Levi plays Eugene Fitzherbert/Flynn Rider, the boyfriend of Rapunzel.

Other characters include Eden Espinosa (as Cassandra), Clancy Brown (King Frederic), Julie Brown (Queen Arianna), Jeff Ross (Hook Foot), Jeffrey Tambor (Big Nose), and Paul F. Tompkins (Shorty).

Right now, the plot of Tangled: The Series season 3 was not yet revealed as well. But the animated series follows the story of Rapunzel who was kidnapped after her birth by evil Mother Gothel as she found out the princess' golden hair possessed magical properties from her parents King Frederic and Queen Arianna of Corona.

Mother Gothel raised Rapunzel, and she grew up in an isolated tower. But when she turned 18, Rapunzel was in for an adventure to find out the significance of the lanterns that appeared in the sky every once a year. Little did she know, her parents sent them to fly hoping they would find their daughter. Along her journey, she met different people, including her boyfriend Eugene.

Many viewers enjoyed the direction of Tangled: The Series, so they are now hoping the third season will bring more magical adventures, along with better tales of friendships and more lessons for Rapunzel.
