Things are getting more and more thrilling in the popular American action police procedural television series that revolves around the adventure of the special agents from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. However, the series, also, had its fair share of rumors and speculations, which include regular cast Mark Harmon and Sean Murray. Now, fans are wondering if they would be seeing the pair in the imminent NCIS Season 16 Episode 21.

Avid followers of the show need to wait for a week for the upcoming "Judge, Jury..." episode since the series had a temporary hiatus due to the Holy Week. Despite this, fans need not worry because they would, surely, enjoy the forthcoming NCIS Season 16 Episode 21. The official synopsis of the new episode caused some concern among fans and sparked speculations that another series regular might take the exit door again.

Speculations have it that Sean Murray, who portrays the role of agent Tim McGee, might leave the show. "After entering cold case DNA into the system, Kasie solves a 30-year-old murder case, but a loophole in the legal system may set the suspect free," the official NCIS Season 16 Episode 21 read. "Also, McGee visits an elite technology company in Silicon Valley that is offering him a highly paid position."

Should Tim McGee accept the deal in NCIS Season 16 Episode 21, it is very likely that Sean Murray would no longer be seen in the famous CBS series. However, CarterMatt claimed that it might be impossible for Sean to depart from the show after it was renewed for another season. In fact, in a clip that Wilmer Valderrama shared on social media, Sean was heard thanking the cast for the renewal of the series along with Emily Wickersham, Wilmer, and Mark Harmon.

Besides Tim McGee, Mark Harmon was, previously, rumored to be leaving the show after it was announced that the latter would star in another series called Prey. Rumors about his exit continue to make rounds online for quite some time now. However, the 67-year-old American actor assured fans that he not departing from the show anytime soon. Hence, he is likely to show up in NCIS Season 16 Episode 21.

CBS Entertainment president Kelly Kahl even revealed that Mark Harmon would be returning in Season 17. "NCIS' amazing characters and terrific storytelling result in some of TV's most passionate fans," Kahl said prior to NCIS Season 16 Episode 21. "Of course, none of this would be possible without an outstanding production team, and talented cast led by the incomparable and absolutely tireless Mark Harmon," she went on.

The upcoming new episode is set to air on Tuesday, April 30, at 8 p.m. on CBS Channel. Stay tuned to Business Times for more NCIS Season 16 Episode 21 spoilers, predictions, news, and updates!
