The duo's characters, Jamie Fraser and Claire Randall, looked head over heels with each other in the said snap. The photograph, effortlessly, caught the attention of many.
As a matter of fact, Caitriona Balfe was quick to retweet the photo on her official Twitter account. "Just a couple of kids... 20+ years in..." the leading lady of Sam Heughan wrote in the caption, which is a reference to the gap of time that Claire and Jamie, previously, had. To recall, Claire Randall decided to return to 1940s after she thought that Jamie had expired already.
Now that the imminent Outlander Season 5 is getting nearer and nearer to its official premiere date, fans could not help but create theories and speculations on what are likely to happen in the new installment.
