Ever since No Good Nick hit the online streaming giant Netflix on April 15, fans are already looking forward to the next part. Luckily, fans won't have to wait too long as it has been reported that the second part will be released in fall 2019.
The exciting news came to light when showrunner and executive producer David H. Steinberg said in a Twitter post that the entire cast and staff members just finished filming the 20th and final episode of No Good Nick. He added that the second part, which consists of 10 episodes, will hit Netflix this fall.
As for the plot, the second part of No Good Nick will pick up right after the "The Jam Auction" episode's huge twist and revelations. In the said episode, Liz Thompson (Melissa Joan Hart) found out that her new foster daughter (Siena Agudong) is just pretending to be Nicole "Nick" Patterson.
She is a con artist who infiltrates their family with the intention to get revenge on them for unknowingly ruining her life. Her plan, however, goes into awry when she came to love each one of them - Liz, Ed (Sean Astin), Jeremy (Kalama Epstein) and Molly Thompson (Lauren Lindsey Donzis).
"There are some things that are going to come up in Nick's way that will be major obstacles for her," Siena Agudong, 14, said in an interview with HollywoodLife. "There's so much pressure on Nick from so many sources, and she doesn't know what's true anymore. Everything she used to rely on is gone now, and she's freaking out now," she added.
Siena Agudong went ahead to say that there are higher stakes going into the second part of No Good Nick. "They put so much pressure on her and continue to build. That balance of her father and the Thompsons plays a role in Part 2. There's a lot of struggle. There are so many different things that she needs to consider," she explained.
Also returning in the second part of No Good Nick are Kyla-Drew as Becky, Sanai Victoria as Tamika, Tiana Le as Xuan, Eddie McClintock as Tony, Molly Hagan as Dorothy, Ted McGinley as Sam, Alex Poncio as Jim, Gus Kamp as Eric, Marco Sanchez as Eduardo, Lori Mae Hernandez as Riley, and Josie Totah as Lisa Haddad.
