Stan Lee's cameo in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame movie will be the second to the last appearance of the late comic book legend on Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is possible that Lee will appear more than once in the much awaited film, considering its run time of three hours.

Marvel Comics' primary creative influencer has appeared in other Marvel movies (more than 20 of those) as well as television series. He has even appeared in Marvel video games. His appearances have been such that Marvel fans have come to look forward to spotting Lee's cameos on any of the aforementioned Marvel media.

Since his passing in November 2018 at age 95 after a battle with pneumonia, he has appeared in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Captain Marvel. His cameo in Avengers: Endgame was recently referred to by the film's director, Joe Russo, as the ultimate posthumous one.

In the light of this, Marvel Studios is making a video of the legend's cameos which will reveal behind-the-scenes shots of his appearances. All behind-the-scenes of such appearances of the Marvel Comics creator, from being a security guard, to librarian, even a bus driver, will be featured in the video.

This will mark a sort of tribute to the former Marvel character developer, who has been credited with co-creating Marvel superheroes such as Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Hulk, the Fantastic Four, Thor, Iron Man, Ant-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange and Daredevil, as well as Scarlet Witch.

Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios, shared that such a thing has never been done in the past. He also pointed out that the comic book legend's death had been "emotional for all," and that when he had watched the "B-roll that was shot" as well as the "stand-ups," everything just "came back" to him.

One of the scenes to be included will be a cameo of Lee which was deleted from The Avengers, showing him giving Captain America a verbal thrashing. It will also include the memorable appearance of the comic book writer in the Iron Man film from last year where Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey, Jr.) took him to be Hugh Hefner, the Playboy founder and editor-in-chief, at a red carpet.

He even appeared in Captain Marvel as himself and was pictured going over a script of Mallrats.

The video may be included as part of the Avengers: Endgame digital and Blu-ray releases. His last cameo will feature in July's release of Spider-Man: Far From Home.

The film, Avengers: Endgame on the other hand, is expected to come out in theaters across the globe on April 26.
