Another made up story has been debunked recently, this time regarding the supposed holdup of Gwen Stefani's and Blake Shelton's wedding.

Stefani's and Shelton's wedding is purportedly being delayed. And the reason is said to be because the former's first marriage to the English singer, Gavin Rossdale is yet to be officially annulled.

The No Doubt lead vocalist is allegedly holding out for when the Catholic Church finally annuls her first marriage before she intends to make her married life to Shelton official.

This was the contention made by In Touch, which further claimed that a professed reliable source shared that Stefani had started the "formal process" for her annulment some time back.

The "Don't Speak" singer, it was maintained, was looking forward to having her vows "recognized" by the church, but that there was a hitch since the process could take yet "another year" to complete. This has made Stefani accordingly "extremely frustrated."

The made-up source was said to have witnessed Shelton expressing that he "doesn't understand" why Stefani is so dead set on the annulment before their wedding when they have "essentially" lived together "in sin."

The questionable source has even gone on to say that, although the country music songwriter is "patient," he is all for having the "civil ceremony" first and the Catholic wedding later, something which is frowned upon by Stefani's church.

The tipster has also pointed out that her religion is significant to the actress-record producer which is why she is supposedly holding out until the "annulment" is finally "granted."

When that happens, this shady informer maintained, the two love birds would lose no time to "immediately get married." So Stefani's and Shelton's wedding is not likely to happen "anytime soon."

GossipCop, who is reputed to have debunked many false claims made by shifty publications, has declared all this as rubbish, no matter how engaging the story seems to be. In this recent report, the online police consider it a curious thing when the publication responsible for this fictitious story this time claimed the wedding would not be happening very soon.

This is because the self-same news outlet had claimed only a short time back that the California girl was already pregnant and that the couple was planning to have an exchange of vows at the Oklahoma native's ranch in Ada.

But the major issue concerning this deceptive report is that Stefani and Shelton have not even gotten engaged as yet, much less be in the position of planning out a Catholic Church wedding, or any type of wedding at all.

What makes these claims even more underhanded is that sister publications of In Touch have lately run related stories, none of which ring any truer than this present one.

Just a month before this present report, US Weekly ran a closely related untrue story of Stefani's reluctance to have her wedding with Shelton as she wanted to wait until the Catholic Church annuls her marriage to the father of her children, Rossdale.

As if the first fabrication were not enough, the National Enquirer ran a blatantly false tale of Stefani considering going straight to the Pope and "beg" for her earlier marriage to be annulled so that she could finally go through the couple's plans to marry.

Stefani's representative has belied these three contentions.
