Everyone's speculating if Blue Bloods season 10 will open with a beach resort and two happily-married people sipping some cocktail enjoying their time together. When season 9 opened, there was no mention or hint at anything regarding Jamie and Eddie's engagement, but they did investigate an arson together.

It's likely that season 10 won't open with Jamie and Eddie's honeymoon. Except, it is possible the scenes will show them exiting the airport or wherever they came from for their honeymoon vacation. We think it's back in business by the opening of Blue Bloods season 10, just like how every Blue Bloods first episode goes, and maybe a little throwback for some audience retrospect.

Maybe we're speculating some honeymoon scenes because hey, the wedding production in the finale trailer featuring the couple saying their vows in St. Andrews was definitely on the level. We saw every guy we've joined in each adventure wearing tuxedo tails. Eddie had that glamorous strapless wedding dress, laces, and even a tiara. It was a wedding fit for a king and queen.

The episode in-production was an event in itself to the point People magazine had exclusive photos they took from the event. Therefore, we're all expecting some kind of honeymoon bang by the opening of season 10 right?

Unfortunately, we don't think so. Aside from behind-the-scenes production costs of flying a team to a beach-themed exotic honeymoon location and having the talents there for a brief minutes-long scene just to say "just married," we know Blue Bloods for its gritty starting scenes. It might be a time jump -- fast-forward three weeks to three months after their wedding, and we're looking at a baby.

Or, it can be something else entirely, such as Eddie hanging on for dear life while in the climax of an investigation that had revealed faces and names with dire consequences. However, one thing's for sure, the couple is now married, each will share in both side's hardships, concerns, and other problems, and they cannot pretend they're not together anymore.

Of course, we can expect it's not going to be a wedded couple's drama, but a bit of those scene will most likely appear. We expect these to materialize by the end of Blue Bloods season 10's first half when things often get real and dangerous.

While all this is mere speculation, there's no telling what's in store for us when "Blue Bloods" season 10 drops within the next few months. But, one thing's for sure: we're in for an awesome ride with a newly-married on-screen couple!
