NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 23 aired on Sunday night, May 12, and it revealed more about David James Elliot's character Harmon Rabb, Jr. He was first introduced in JAG - the series that inspired NCIS franchise - and he is now believed to have bigger roles in the NCIS world, but it also assumed his introduction in the series is a hint about a possible JAG revival.

Harmon Rabb, Jr. is said to be one of the most popular and iconic characters in the TV history, and fans haven't seen him for about a decade and a half. So, his arrival on NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 23 made viewers think what happened to him over the past years.

Based on the previously released sneak peek, it's very obvious the character has gone through a lot, and he changed a lot as well. The preview features Callen and Sam meeting him for the very first time, and the scene feels nostalgic for some - mostly because of the music which is the iconic JAG background music.

But, many believed the appearance of the character in NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 23 is like a hint about the possible revival of the JAG series. It feels different seeing Harm on the NCIS world, but it's very likely CBS is introducing him on the series to "test waters" regarding the new version of JAG. But if ever that would be possible, the revival will not arrive soon since there'll be more talks on how to set things up.

As for the question of why Harm is now present in a particular episode, it is evident that Callen and Sam need his help. They need to go to the Persian Gulf just to work with Harm aboard the USS Allegiance. Some ISIS sympathizers target the important military locations, so Harm is the valuable point of contact, and they need his assistance to make the world safer for both men and women in uniform.

Since the episode is the penultimate one, the happenings here are crucial as it would lead viewers to the finale. It's also worth mentioning that another JAG star Catherine Bell will join NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 finale, where she'll reprise her role as Sarah MacKenzie. Thus, fans will see both Harm and Mac being in the NCIS world.
