The aftermath of the battle in King's Landing left the city in ashes. Now that Cersei (Lena Headey) is gone and several important characters are dead, what will happen in Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6?
Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) turned into a mad queen after she burned down King's Landing, along with thousands of innocent people, in Episode 5, titled "The Bells." Despite the ring of surrender, the mother of dragons continued with her plan to destroy the city and kill her enemies in the very un-Daenerys way. So what would be the Khaleesi's next move?
In the new Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6 trailer, Daenerys can be seen walking toward the burnt King's Landing, surrounded by her people. As the remaining Dothraki and Unsullied celebrate their victory, Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham), and Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) are devastated of the result. But the most important scene of it all is Arya's (Maisie Williams) appearance along with the army.
Arya is believed to be in King's Landing to tick another name on her list - Cersei. But with what's happening in the city, The Hound (Rory McCann) told her to go home instead as she would die if she went on with him.
But as the Red Keep collapsed, killing Cersei and Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), who returned to King's Landing to be with his sister, in the process, what would be next for Arya? Melisandre's (Carice van Houten) prophecy said Arya would kill someone with green eyes. As Cersei is already dead and Daenerys turned into a mad queen, would she kill the Westeros' new queen in Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6?
There are theories the North would stand up against Daenerys in Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6, per Mashable. The battle might not be over as Arya seemed to avenge the death of many innocent people, including the woman who helped her to rise in the middle of a flock of panicking people in Episode 5.
If it happens, Melisandre's prophecy about Arya will come true. Arya might put a stop on Daenerys' dream to be the queen of Seven Kingdoms now that they know what she could do to have the throne and stay in power. Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6, the show's final episode, will be out on Sunday, May 20, at 9 p.m. on HBO.
