Things will be more intense between Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh) and Villanelle (Jodie Comer) in Killing Eve Season 2 Episode 7. The show has bagged several awards from the recent BAFTA 2019, proving the show is more than just a drama series. And as the tale continues, AMC has dropped the new episode's official synopsis and trailer, teasing what is about to come.
"Villanelle dives deep into the dangerous world of her target under the guise of her newfound persona, Billie," Killing Eve Season 2 Episode 7 official synopsis read. "Eve may have worrying competition for Villanelle's affections."
In Killing Eve Season 2 Episode 7 trailer, the scene opened with Eve being questioned how much of her days she spends thinking about Villanelle. "Most of it," she said.
Carolyn (Fiona Shaw) can also be seen saying she doesn't want to be strict, but she gives Eve a piece of advice that she must not kill anyone. In the next Killing Eve Season 2 Episode 7 scene, Konstantin (Kim Bodnia) shows Villanelle what seems to be a garrote wire. Villanelle looks surprised to see the weapon and wonder how it is used.
There is also a mysterious guy who is watching Villanelle on closed-circuit television in Killing Eve Season 2 Episode 7 trailer. "You're the only person in the world I know nothing about," he said.
It also looks like Villanelle will have another victim as she is seen getting a knife while saying, "Why you look so annoying to see me?" Lastly, Eve assures Hugo (Edward Bluemel) "she" is working for them. "Are you sure," he questionably asked.
Meanwhile, executive producer Phoebe Waller-Bridge bagged several awards for Killing Eve at the recent 2019 BAFTA TV Awards. The show was evidently on a roll for taking a total of three awards for the evening, per Metro News.
Comer won the leading actress category for her role as the hired assassin Villanelle. Shaw, on the other hand, triumphed on the supporting actress category. And to top all the winnings, Killing Eve bagged the best drama series award.
Surely, everyone was celebrating for the new honors the show has received. After the celebrations, fans are now ready to witness what will happen in Killing Eve Season 2 Episode 7, titled "Wide Awake," when it hits the small screens on Sunday, May 19, on AMC.
