The Spanish Princess Episode 3's title is made to be bold for a reason. Catherine (Charlotte Hope) is desperate to become the Queen of England, but will she able to make it or it will be once again taken away from her?
"Catherine stays determined to become England's future Queen and makes plans to marry Prince Harry (Ruairi O'Connor)," The Spanish Princess Episode 3 official synopsis read. "Lizzie has a troubling premonition following a complicated labor."
According to CarterMatt, Catherine has found herself in a very shaking position. She is in the middle of two different worlds - one is in England while another is in the place she is sent away. Her place will only be determined if she is pregnant or not in The Spanish Princess Episode 3.
Catherine had a short-lived marriage with Prince Arthur (Angus Imrie). However short, at least she experienced living in the kingdom that made her determine to reach a goal.
She badly wants to become the next Queen of England. But, her dream may be taken away from her and Catherine may either accept the reality or fight for a new ambition that she wants to happen in The Spanish Princess Episode 3.
Catherine will use her intelligence, ability, and craftiness to take a different path that is right for her in The Spanish Princess Episode 3. Although it may not be the same thing that everyone in the Court wants for her, she will still do everything to reach her goal.
The Court realizes it has the alliance it wants. Catherine, on the other hand, has her own agenda. As she said in The Spanish Princess Episode 3 trailer, she wants to make sure will not be "passed around like a collection plate."
Starz's The Spanish Princess is based on Philippa Gregory's novel, The Constant Princess, per Collider. It follows the story of Catherine of Aragon, the 17-year-old woman who was promised in marriage to Prince Arthur. The arranged wedding was meant to form an alliance between their two nations.
When Prince Arthur suddenly died, Catherine lost her dream to become the next queen. So, she set a new goal to be the Queen of England by marrying Prince Harry, who would become King Henry VIII. The Spanish Princess Episode 3, titled "An Audacious Plan," will be out on Sunday, May 19, on Starz.
