Supergirl Season 4 Episode 22 will give the nod to the 1987 film Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, where Jon Cryer himself played the role of Lenny Luthor. In the finale episode, Kara (Melissa Benoist) will do everything to clean her reputation and save the world from Lex Luthor (Cryer).
It will be Kara's last chance to stop Lex from ruining everything in Supergirl Season 4 Episode 22. After dealing with every issue he has created, Kara may finally meet the evil villain in the final episode.
"Lex Luthor descends upon Washington, DC and summons Lena (Katie McGrath) and Lillian Luthor (guest star Brenda Strong) to the White House," Supergirl Season 4 Episode 22 official synopsis read. "Supergirl (Benoist) realizes she has one last chance to stop Lex and turns to the power of the press to help her."
Cryer has been receiving a lot of praises for portraying the role of the iconic Superman villain in Supergirl. "His version of Lex is so calculated, and at the same time he's composed and calm, and then he has these explosive outbursts of anger," Andrea K. Brooks, who plays the role of Eve Tessmacher, told ComicBook. "Being able to bear witness to that has been such a gift. I feel like I've learned so much from him, and he truly has brought Lex to life in this unassuming way, and I love that about him."
Kara has faced a lot in this season, from Ben Lockwood's (Sam Witwer) "anti-alien" approach to Agent Liberty's bigotry that inspired subsequent hatred. Her problems don't even end there with the coming of her cousin's biggest nemesis, Lex.
Finally, they may face each other in Supergirl Season 4 Episode 22. According to Bam Smack Pow, everything that happened after a call to the U.S. President to say Kasnia planned to attack the country due to Lex's order led to her abduction that took her to her doppelganger, the Red Daughter.
Kara and the Red Daughter's face-off led to a super-powered showdown. But as one of them fell, the poor one ended on Lex's hands. So what would happen from here?
