After an epic Season 2 finale, fans will continue to see Barry's (Bill Hader) antics in Barry Season 3. HBO renewed the show for a third season after the second season's premiere, and the fun would surely continue.

Stephen Root and Anthony Carrigan, who play as Monroe and NoHo, respectively, revealed Barry Season 2 finale was "nuts." Carrigan told International Business Times at the Peabody Awards the finale episode ratchet up the show "quite a few notches."

Things went sour for Monroe in Barry Season 2 finale, but it showed an incredible twist that surprised the fans like the Season 1's ending. "This show goes left and right every other show because they're so good at writing twists that are real," Carrigan explained. "That you genuinely don't expect, and it's so fun to play."

Barry Season 3 will continue to follow Barry's story after he tries to delve in the world of acting to leave the criminal underworld in his past. The show continues to be a big hit to the critics and viewers that HBO renews the series for a new season. It will have another eight episodes with Hader as the lead star and Alec Berg as the show's co-creator Alec Berg, per Variety.

After working as a hitman, Barry discovers he has a passion for acting when he comes to Los Angeles for a job. In Season 2, Barry is trying to distance himself from the world of contract killing to completely put his focus on his new career - acting. However, as Barry removes all the external factors that push him to be a killer, he finds out there are also other forces that turn him into a hitman.

Barry has received several critical acclaims since it hit the small screens in 2018. It has won three Emmy Awards for Season 1 from the best actor in a comedy for Hader to the best supporting actor in a comedy series for Henry Winkler, who plays as Gene, and best sound mixing for a comedy or drama series (half-hour) and animation.

So in Barry Season 3, fans can expect to see the show's natural antics and banter of Hader, along with Root, Carrigan, Winkler, and Sarah Goldberg, who portrays Sally's role. Berg will surely be back as the new season's co-creator and executive producer.

Aida Rodgers also serves as the show's co-executive producer, Liz Sarnoff as the consulting producer, and Emily Heller as supervising director. Julie Camino and Jason Kim are the show's producers, while Duffy Boudreau and Amy Solomon are the co-producers. HBO has yet to announce when Barry Season 3 will be out, but it is expected for release in 2020.
