Ahead of Whiskey Cavalier Finale, ABC canceled the show after only one season. Warner Bros. Television is reportedly looking for a new network that would continue the show, so how would it affect Episode 13, "Czech Mate," ending?

It looks like Whiskey Cavalier Finale will answer all of the fans' questions as seen on its trailer. Will's (Scott Foley) former boss, Alex (Dylan Walsh), will try to persuade the team to commit a terrorist attack for The Trust. To do so, the group may use Ray's (Josh Hopkins) life as leverage, per TV Insider.

Whiskey Cavalier Finale trailer also shows Jai (Vir Dash) helping Standish (Tyler James Williams) deal with Tina's (Marika Domińczyk) revelation about killing Will's girlfriend, Emma (Ophelia Lovibond). Also, Will and Frankie (Lauren Cohan) will come to realize things about their relationship.

Will and Ray will be seen working together in Whiskey Cavalier Finale. Ray will not be the only one in Alex's clutches, and fans wonder how close Will and Frankie can be when the show ends.

According to CarterMatt, Whiskey Cavalier Finale seems to be thrilling and action-packed, but will still be filled with humor to oppose the fear of deaths. Fans will also notice the progress of Will and Frankie's relationship.

But as ABC canceled the show, fans are hoping Whiskey Cavalier Finale would put some closure to the major key plots. But, it might still leave the door open for a possible continuation on a new network or streaming service that might pick it up.

There may be a new network that may put interest on the show, given that it has a "passionate audience" and Foley and Cohan have international followings. It only means the Whiskey Cavalier has "international dollars" that is a big deal in television business nowadays.

Meanwhile, talking about the cancellation, ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke said at the recent Disney upfront press conference, it was a hard decision to cancel the show. "We thought we gave it very strong launch in spring. But we lost audience," he said, via Deadline. "We felt the biggest opportunity was to try something new. We looked for other time slots but did not see a real opportunity to grow."

Whiskey Cavalier has been one of ABC's lowest-rated series for the season. The news about its cancellation didn't even affect the penultimate episode's rating. Thus, it may be the right time to say goodbye. However, it remains to be seen how Whiskey Cavalier Finale will perform when it airs on Wednesday, May 22.
