Recent reports claim Queen Elizabeth II may have probably paid tribute to Meghan Markle while she was out with Kate Middleton. The monarch attended the Duchess of Cambridge's flower show in Chelsea on Monday and she was spotted in an all-green ensemble.

As per reports, Her Majesty's attire on the mentioned event was the exact outfit she wore during Prince Harry and Markle's wedding in May 2018. Stuart Parvin reportedly designed Queen Elizabeth's coat, and then she matched it with a pearl necklace and brooch.

While walking around the garden, the monarch was seen smiling from ear to ear. On the other hand, Middleton wore expensive Sheba floral cotton silk gown from British Canadian designer Erdem, while Prince William sported his usual suit and tie for the event.

The Chelsea Flower Show came a day after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated their first wedding anniversary. That's why when Her Majesty was photographed wearing the same outfit she wore during the royal wedding, some think Queen Elizabeth paid tribute to Markle.

Meanwhile, it was previously reported that the monarch will be supporting Middleton's flower show, so her attendance at the event isn't a surprise for many. When she arrived, Queen Elizabeth told the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge that they are both looking tidy. Prince William cheekily responded with the Queen's remark, saying he has "smartened up."

In another report, Queen Elizabeth and Markle reportedly have a "special bond." Prince Harry introduced the two ladies in 2017, and since then, the monarch reportedly realized how the former Suits actress was willing to give up everything she has in her life just to be with her grandson.

However, even though they have a close relationship, Her Majesty is reportedly worried that the marriage of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex won't last. The reason why the monarch is concerned about this is because the royal couple decided to get married in the month of May, which is reportedly not the ideal month to tie the knot.

For instance, Queen Elizabeth's younger sister, Princess Margaret married Antony Armstrong-Jones on May 9, 1960, and their marriage didn't last as they divorced in 1976. Reportedly, the tradition of avoiding the month of May for weddings was dated back Victorian times, and also during the spread of Christianity.

The pagan festival of Beltane started in May, so Christians reportedly believe they shouldn't wed during that month so they could prevent direct associations.
