ABC confirmed earlier this year that Shark Tank season 11 is happening, the announcement was made while the tenth season still has a few remaining episodes. Here's what we know so far about the next installment.

Shark Tank is a reality TV series that features budding entrepreneurs who were given a chance to make their dreams come true by presenting their ideas to the sharks in the tanks - an intimidating team of billionaires. What the contestants need to do is that they should convince at least one of the sharks to invest money in their idea. At the end of the episode, each of them could either walk away with nothing or leave with a business deal.

Right now, the release date of Shark Tank season 11 was not yet revealed, but ABC noted the reality TV series would be back during it 2019-2020 broadcast season. Some reports also claim the show usually returns either September or October, so it's very likely viewers can expect new episodes this coming fall. Moreover, the new season will probably run until February or May 2020.

Following the renewal announcement in February, the casting call dates and locations went live. Since the casting for Shark Tank season 11 has started, entrepreneurs in every part of the country began pitching their products, hoping they would get an investment from one of the sharks. The tenth season wrapped up on May 12, so viewers need to wait at least four or five months for more hilarious pitches and exciting products.

ABC also confirmed that all six reality TV investors will be returning in Shark Tank season 11. Viewers will be seeing once again venture capitalist Kevin O'Leary, CEO of apparel company FUBU Daymond John, technology trailblazer Robert Herjavec, QVC star and TV personality Lori Greiner, real estate tycoon Barbara Corcoran, as well as owner and chairman of AXS TV Mark Cuban.

Many also believed some of the shark co-stars might appear in the upcoming installment. In season 9 and 10, viewers saw some notable faces such as Jamie Siminoff, Matt Higgins, Charles Barkley, Bethenny Frankel, Sara Blakely, Alex Rodriguez, Rohan Oza, Richard Branson, Chris Sacca, Troy Carter, and Ashton Kutcher. If ever, some of these guests might show up in the new season at some point.

Meanwhile, Shark Tank has already won several awards, like four straight Primetime Emmys for Outstanding Structured Reality Program from 2014 to 2017.
