Briana DeJesus, 25, hit the beach to celebrate her first anniversary with beau John "Johnny' Rodriguez, 26.
The Teen Mom 2 star and her postal worker boyfriend have reached their one year mark, and to celebrate, the two set out on a 'baecation' to the pristine beaches of the Dominican Republic.
DeJesus took to her Instagram to show off some photos of their romantic getaway, and judging by the huge candid smiles on their faces, they are having quite a good time in the tropics. The two were spotted on the Punta Cana beach in snorkeling gear, posing for a cute photo.
The couple also went aboard a sleek and luxurious boat. In one of DeJesus' Instagram posts, the couple were in a fit of glee as they were strapped in for a round of parasailing and swimming, together in a pool with dolphins.
Some time back, in September, the reality star had revealed that she had a new love interest. That was six months after a bitter and dramatic break up with her co-star and ex-boyfriend Javi Marroquin.
But DeJesus was obviously crazy about Rodriguez since then and has posted a handful of cute pictures of him with sweet captions. Unlike Marroquin, her new man is a stranger to the American television series she stars in. He has no ties with anyone on the show as well.
The young reality TV star sees that as a refreshing change and a big plus for her. It means she does not have to worry about any crazy 'baby mama' drama in the near future with him.
The Teen Mom 2 actress also gushingly shared how great Rodriguez is as a boyfriend and father figure to her two daughters Nova, who is 7 years old, and Stella, 1. She talks about how she loves the way her present beau is with her little girls.
Apparently, he is really attentive to her kids and loves them like they are his own. And, in turn, the two girls love him just as well and always look forward to hanging out with him or being left under his care, when the TV mom has too much on her hands.
Even though they have just recently celebrated their first anniversary together as a couple, DeJesus and Rodriguez are in no rush to let things escalate in their relationship. The Orlando native reveals that they are not planning on having kids anytime soon and have not been in talks to move in together, contrary to the rumors circulating among her fans.
The Teen Mom 2 starrer declares she and her boyfriend want to just enjoy each other and take things slow.
