Everyone is talking about the upcoming Game of Thrones Prequel, so the expectation is now hyped up. HBO is now working on developing the new series as some of its cast members are now in Belfast, Northern Ireland, while one of the original series' Twitter page confirms its production.

"The #GameofThrones Prequel pilot about the Age of Heroes, which includes the Long Night and the war against the White Walkers, begins shooting this month," Game of Thrones Facets tweeted. "The story is written by Jane Goldman and George R.R. Martin."

It has been widely reported that the Game of Thrones Prequel will tell the backstory of the Night King and his army of the dead, the White Walkers. In the official synopsis by HBO, it said the show would take place thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones.

The spinoff will explore the ancestry of the Golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour. It will reveal the horrifying secrets of Westeros, the real history of the White Walkers, and the mysteries of the East and the Starks of legend.

The story the Game of Thrones Prequel will be different from what the original series features. It is a tale that everyone thinks they know, but they have no idea of.

In Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3, "The Long Night," which could be the prequel's official title, Arya (Maisie Williams) killed the Night King (Vladimír Furdík). Although the scene gave great satisfaction, the story didn't delve that much to the lives of the White Walkers and its supreme leader after hyping the villain too much.

According to Daily Caller, it may be the reason why the Game of Thrones Prequel will explore the Night King and the White Walkers' origin. The show is now expected to explore a massive villain storyline, and fans hope it won't disappoint after the complaints the original series' season finale receives.

Meanwhile, Business Times recently reported Jamie Campbell Bower, Alex Sharp, and Marquis Rodriguez are now in Belfast for the production of the Game of Thrones prequel. In different posts on their respective Instagram accounts, the three are enjoying their stay in the city of Northern Ireland as they explore its famous sites.

Naomi Watts, Naomi Watts, Miranda Richardson, Josh Whitehouse, Naomi Ackie, Denise Gough, Shiela Atim, Ivanno Jeremiah, George Henley, and Toby Regbo will also join Bower, Sharp, and Rodriguez in Belfast, although there is no news yet if they already arrived. HBO has yet to announce either the stars official roles or the Game of Thrones Prequel's release date, but it may be out in 2020.
