Lamar Odom has recently released his memoir Darkness To Light, and it talks so much about his "angel," Khloe Kardashian. But that doesn't stop there as once again he opened about his marriage with the reality star in an interview on BuzzFeed News' Facebook Watch show Profile last Wednesday.
The professional basketball player recalls how Kardashian took care of him amid his past drug addiction and infidelities when he was hospitalized and became comatose after a suspected overdose at a brothel in Nevada.
Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian's first meeting at a party for Ron Artest in Hollywood is the typical "whirlwind" kind of relationship wherein they hit it off quite fast in a span of three weeks.
Just before basketball season started to back up, Odom just signed a $33 million contract with the Lakers, and with that, he and the mother of one got married. Now he regrets all that he has done, specifically his cheating, as it has been "haunting" him a lot.
Despite having already filed the divorce in December 2013, Khloe Kardashian still checks in with Lamar Odom as he has been reported already having problems with drug addiction.
The final blow was when Odom was hospitalized after being found unconscious at the Love Ranch -- a legal brothel in Crystal, Nevada - in 2015.
Kardashian had to fly to Las Vegas that evening, where she remains at his bedside, even some of the Kardashian-Jenner family flew to Vegas to be with the former couple and "still love Lamar" despite everything that's happened over the years.
That explains why the 39-year old basketball star explains how he can tell that Khloe Kardashian must have "spoilt" her daughter, True Thompson as he also experienced how the reality star spoilt him before.
Talking with the chat show host, blogger and budding actress Diana Madison on the Hollyscoop set at Obsev Studios about his book Darkness to Light, Lamar Odom reveals how Khloe Kardashian practiced for motherhood by "spoiling him with everything he wanted or needed."
Recalling his near-death experience in 2015, Odom calls Kardashian as an "Armenian angel," and further added "I had a great wife and hadn't treated her well. I never had the opportunity to tell her how thankful I was for wiping my a*s."
Lamar Odom cannot consider Khloe Kardashian as a friend or a close acquaintance now. However, the 34-year old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star would call him once in a while.
Just recently, Kardashian texted him and said, "Laugh out loud. I didn't know that you remembered that story,'" Odom said. "And the story she's talking about is when she comes to the hotel and finds two women and puts her hands on one of them."
The reality star also tells that there is no "bad blood" between her and Odom however she hasn't publicly commented on her ex-husband's new memoir or even her representatives didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
