The second episode of Fear The Walking Dead Season 5 certainly had a lot of surprises as Morgan Jones learned about radioactive walkers from a woman named Grace and Daniel Salazar helped Victor Strand make contact with Luciana Galvez. However, the biggest shocker in 'The Hurt That Will Happen' was Luciana's discovery of walker heads being strung up from a billboard at the truck stop. The question is, who is making these horrible road blocks? Will they finally be revealed in Fear The Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 3?
In 'The Hurt That Will Happen', Strand finally set off to find Salazar, who is still very much alive. Salazar was eager to help Strand connect with Luciana. However, he wasn't quite ready to let Strand borrow his plane. Perhaps things will be a lot different in the third episode now that the stakes are seemingly a lot higher.
Morgan also stumbled upon the mysterious Grace while trying to find the missing Althea. Grace tells him that she was once the operations manager at a nearby power plant that had a meltdown the year before and feels responsible for the radioactive walkers that once were her friends. Although she is on a mission to get rid of all the radioactive walkers, Grace refuses Morgan's help and wants to go on her own. However, she also confirms that she isn't responsible for all those walker body parts that are being left behind like a warning.
It is Luciana who realizes what the random walker parts are all about. They are road blocks that serve as a warning for anyone to stay away. So who are these people who are creating the horrifying signs? Will they turn out to be new allies or another group to deal with in Fear The Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 3?
The description for 'Humbug's Gulch' is decidedly secretive about what will happen in the upcoming episode. However, it does tease on another survivor showing up.
"June and Dorie take shelter to hide from a threat and encounter a desperate survivor," it reads. Could the "survivor" turn out to be the real threat next week?
Who is creating the gory perimeter? Are they up to help the group or could they have a sinister plan? The truth could be revealed in Fear The Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 3, which airs on AMC on June 16.
