Netflix once again hears fans' cry when it orders for Lucifer Season 5. However, it will be the show's final installment, so viewers have to make themselves ready for a final goodbye. Now that the series is about to come to an end, there may be a reunion between Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Chloe (Lauren German), and the initial's life in hell will be explored.

Lucifer already revealed his love for Chloe in the previous season before he returned to hell. But as the prince of darkness thought that he would never see the love of his life again, a major twist might happen in Lucifer Season 5.

In an interview with executive producer Joe Henderson, he told DC they know how Lucifer and Chloe would see each other again. "We know what our big drive for season five will be," he teased.

Henderson went on to say Lucifer and Chloe's reunion was something they needed to figure out before they got separated in Season 4. "If you're going to drive the car off the cliff, make sure you know how it's going to land even if you don't know what the consequences of that are," he explained.

As they already know what is about to happen, Henderson hinted Lucifer Season 5 is going to be very exciting, and they are now dying to jump into the new season. "It's good," he revealed.

According to CarterMatt, the beginning of Lucifer Season 5 may be about Lucifer and Chloe's reunion. Although fans should only take this assumption with a grain of salt, as nothing is confirmed yet.

Screen Rant also noted Lucifer Season 5 might be set in hell. The new season might pick up where Season 4 left off after Lucifer felt the need to return to his old ways when his evil subordinates staged a coup in the inferno, thinking he was having the time of his life on Earth with his human friends.

The new season may also give fans a chance to explore Lucifer's real world. Aside from the location settings, Lucifer Season 5 may feature an intense level of emotions. As Lucifer is known for being frail when he feels alone, he may completely return to his old ways that may forever harden his heart.

Netflix has yet to announce Lucifer Season 5 episode count, but it is expected to be around 10 to 13 episodes. The final season may also come out in 2020.
