Fans may finally see Jane (Gina Rodriguez) happy in the last few episodes of Jane the Virgin Season 5. The show is about to come to a close, so that it may tie all the loose ends surrounding Jane, Michael (Brett Dier), and Rafael (Justin Baldoni).
The show is now 13 episodes deep. So in Episode 14, there will be a reunion, new problems, and a lot of pressure that will surround everyone.
"When Lina [Diane Guerrero] comes to town, Jane is excited to see her until she asks for a favor," Jane the Virgin Season 5 Episode 14 official synopsis read. "Rafael begins to work with Petra (Yael Grobglas) again, but old tensions create new problems between them; Rogelio (Jamie Camil) creates a plan to pressure the network to pick up his pilot."
The previous episode saw Jane and Rafael dating again. The two seemed to be back together for Mateo (Elias Janssen). The kid now needs his parents the most after he was diagnosed with ADHD and needing treatment for it.
Jane the Virgin Season 5 is only a few episodes away before it officially draws to a close. In an interview with Metro, executive producer Brad Silberling revealed the show was going to be composed of 19 episodes. So, it would end on the 100th episode mark.
Silberling teased it would be a great final season, and everything was laid out exactly how it was supposed to be. They had always known when the show would conclude, and it was what creator Jennie Snyder Urman had envisioned all along.
As Jane the Virgin Season 5 Episode 14 is about to come out, the show only has five episodes left before it officially says goodbye. So, fans should have their tissues ready as there will be a lot of twist and turn of events that will surely make them emotional.
Rafael and Jane are back in each other's arms. Fans should also look forward to a wedding, another pregnancy, and deaths. Urman previously told TVLine there would be a wedding in the middle of the season.
She also teased there would be a pregnancy in the season finale. Would Jane bear another child? And as the series is a telenovela, Urman hinted there would be deaths.
Jane the Virgin Season 5 Episode 14 will be out on Wednesday, June 26, at 9 p.m. on The CW. It will be the 95th episode of the series, so it only has five episodes left.
