Good Trouble Season 2 returned with a good start. Its premiere episode, "Percussions," exactly picked up where the previous season finale ended. The trial was over, the officer who said to be responsible for Jamal's (Spence Moore II) was innocent, and Malika (Zuri Adele) made a decision that would affect Callie (Maia Mitchell).
Although the show just started, a lot is about to happen in the new episode. Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) and Callie will have issues at work, while Malika will be confused in her activism work and Davia (Emma Hunton) will put balance to her love life.
"Mariana's new relationship complicates her work environment; Callie struggles to make decisions that threaten both her career and love life," Good Trouble Season 2 Episode 2 official synopsis read. "Malika questions her involvement in activism; Davia juggles the men in her life."
With an interview with HollywoodLife, executive producer and co-creator Bradley Bredeweg talked about Callie, her career, and the love triangle between her, Gael (Tommy Martinez), and Jamie (Beau Mirchoff). He first revealed everything that is happening would have an impact on Callie's career.
Fans are about to see how it will affect her career and what will be next for Callie starting on Good Trouble Season 2 Episode 2. "Torn" is about to open a lot of new paths for Callie that fans need to see.
The first season ended with questions like who Callie would choose, what would be her next choice, and what would be best for her. In the current season, she finally decides and will be focusing on that decision.
Jamie will be a big part of Good Trouble Season 2 and her world. Although Bredeweg doesn't want to reveal if the two will have a more matured relationship, he says Callie will make a wise choice for herself this time.
Talking about the love triangle, passion fuels Callie and Gael's relationship, but he can't choose between him and Jamie for her. Even Callie is torn between the two. Although she finds passion with Jamie, she already sees it with Gael.
Meanwhile, Bredeweg also teased there would be a big surprise in the first half of Season 2. He also added there would be more surprises coming in Season 2B and it involves The Fosters characters. Good Trouble Season 2 Episode 2, "Torn," will be out on Tuesday, June 25, on Freeform.
