Prince Edward and Sarah Ferguson are a typical divorced couple that has good co-parenting relationships with each other for their two daughters, Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie. Although these two princesses are already grown up and the other one already married, the former royal couple has an unusual arrangement of still living together despite having been divorced for almost 23 years.

And because the Duchess of York may have accumulated some undesirable moments in the past with the rest of the royal family especially Prince Phillip, Prince Charles and the Queen herself, it is understandable if they would resist another royal wedding in her favor. From being able to build her own identity in America and some scandalous photos even though she is already separated from Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson might have a hard time winning the Queen's approval.

In the past, Sarah Ferguson has been good friends with the late Princess Diana and even considered her as her confidante. However, at first, Sarah Ferguson or as she was lovingly called "Fergie" has been the favorite companion of the Queen. With their penchant for outdoor activities, Sarah Ferguson loved the family's annual summer trips to Balmoral in Scotland, where she and the queen would ride horses side by side. And because of that, "Fergie" was still invited on the annual Balmoral event even though she and Prince Andrew have announced their separation.

However, things changed for Sarah Ferguson, as the news of her photos broke out as she was seen at a villa in the South of France with American financial manager John Bryan. Photos showed the duchess sunbathing topless and Bryan, infamously, nuzzling her foot-which forever after became "the great toe-sucking scandal of 1992."

On numerous royal occasions, Sarah Ferguson was not invited, allegedly upon the request of the Queen and some from Prince Charles himself because of one thing, her close friendship with Princess Diana. With this reason, especially that Prince Charles is set to be King of England, Prince Andrew, and Sarah Ferguson might have a hard time remarrying.

But it is also good to know that Prince Andrew and the Duchess of York might be considering to remarry at the back of their minds only, however, there are so many points to ponder on especially on how their daughters would handle all the noise it will create. The former royal couple is also doing their best to put their best foot forward in regards to Queen Elizabeth since they are also maintaining their daughter's closeness to the Queen.
