It's official. Game of Thrones stars is once again gracing Comic-Con San Diego Hall H in July. HBO confirmed the news on Twitter with a short clip of the show's logo and the SDCC2019.
After its absence in 2018 due to the final season's filming, the critically-acclaimed fantasy series is back to celebrate its success and bid its final goodbye for the last time. HBO announced the panel would include Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), and Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei of Naath), per Entertainment Weekly.
They will also be joined by Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) Iain Glen (Ser Jorah Mormont), Conleth Hill (Varys), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark), and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister). Showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss will also grace the event, along with the famed director and executive producer Miguel Sapochnik.

However, the network has yet to reveal who will be the moderator, but Collider advised fans should not expect anything. Also, HBO, Benioff, and Weiss love a friendly crowd, so there may be no Q&A to question the show's finale and the whole Game of Thrones Season 8.
The last hooray may work as a victory lap where the cast will reminisce their time in the series and thank everyone who shows their support in its eight-season run. The discussion may be very tame, or they may show some deleted scenes or behind-the-scenes clip for fans to enjoy. There will also be an autograph signing at the WB/DC booth, but fans still need to win an Online Exclusives Portal Lottery to do that.
Despite the complaints, Game of Thrones Season 8 finale, "The Iron Throne," broke records by garnering 19.3 million viewers. It even surpassed the penultimate episode, "The Bell," that had 18.4 million viewers record, according to Fox 5.
HBO even noted that "The Iron Thrones" got a viewership of 13.6 million with the people who watched the episode on TV at 9 p.m., making it the most-watched telecast in the network's history. The remaining 5.7 million was tallied from viewers who watch the encore presentation or streamed the show on HBO Go or HBO Now apps.
Game of Thrones Season 8 has an average of 44.2 million viewers per episode, including delayed viewing. Although fans and critics alike saw its finale as a "let down," it was the "most anticipated in television history."
The 2019 San Diego Comic-Con will run from July 18-21. The Game of Thrones panel, on the other hand, will take place on Friday, July 19, at 5:30 p.m. in Hall H.
