BigHit Entertainment is moving to a new and much bigger building in May 2020. The company is currently located in Daechi-dong in Gangnam, but it will soon be located in Yongsan.
The new building is called the Yongsan Trade Center. It is being built at the moment, and the whole construction will be done before the year's end. It is expected that the name will be changed when BigHit Entertainment officially occupies the building from the 7th-floor basement level to the 19th floor next year.
The label explained that they needed a bigger building to accommodate everyone that is affiliated with the agency. With the company’s growing popularity, started by BTS, it seems that BigHit Entertainment needs a bigger place to support all the success.
“We decided to move to accelerate our production of the best contents, as well as our global business,” BigHit Entertainment said. “Our lease with our current contract has ended, so we will soon begin to prepare for our move.”
Before the worldwide success of BTS, BigHit Entertainment was considered a pretty small label. But Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Rm, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were catapulted to stardom and upped their company’s name in the very cutthroat world of K-pop.
BTS then opened up the doors to other BigHit Entertainment artists like TXT. The label is also going to launch a new girl group soon, which a lot of people are already very excited for their debut.
Just like any other K-pop groups, BTS didn’t achieve their success overnight. The boys achieved what they have right now because of their hard work, perseverance, and raw talent.
Entering the entertainment world might be easy for some idols, but staying on top is the hardest part. BTS is clearly at the peak of their career right now, and they are enjoying and appreciating everything every single day.
Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Rm, Jimin, V, and Jungkook would mostly go live to chat with their fans and thank them for their love and support. The boys know that whatever they have now will not be possible without the ARMYs. And without BTS, BigHit Entertainment would remain as a small company.
But now, the label is ready for a new beginning in their bigger building in 2020. There are no other updates regarding the big move as of this writing.
