Prince George and Princess Charlotte have just finished another year in school and have now officially started their summer holiday. The two young royal children will have a lot to look forward to as their summer break starts, particularly Prince George, who will be celebrating his birthday soon.
Prince George is not your average five-year-old, for this royal is already set to be third in line to the throne. However, despite being a prince and having to look forward to ruling a country someday, Prince William and Kate Middleton's first son is still required to attend school like all children in the United Kingdom.
He attends school at Thomas' Battersea, one of the best of the four outstanding private preparatory schools in London, United Kingdom.
Prince George recently finished his second year in what is dubbed "big kid school," and when he returns in September, he will be moving up to his third year in lower elementary. But for now, the goofy little royal will be sitting back and enjoying his little summer break from school.
Prince George has more reason to look forward to his summer holidays than the average kid. This is because his birthday falls on the first month of the summer break.
It can only expected that Prince George will be nothing short of excited for his upcoming birthday on July 22. The prince will be celebrating his sixth year.
For sure, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have planned an enjoyable and intimate party for their eldest son. Prince William and Kate are known for keeping their personal milestones and celebrations very hushed and private.
So people expect the prince will be having a pretty low-key party at their estate, together with his close friends, his siblings, and his cousins. But, the Duke and Duchess may choose to go on an overseas trip to celebrate Prince George's sixth birthday, since not just he, but Princess Charlotte as well, shall be on summer holiday for a few months.
On the other hand, the charming Princess Charlotte also recently completed her last day in primary school. The princess has been attending school at Willcocks Nursery in Kensington ever since January last year.
She has now completed her nursery education and come September, will be joining her older brother in Thomas's Battersea to begin her next level of schooling. Kate recently revealed in a report that the four-year-old was apparently ecstatic about the prospect of going to the same school Prince George is in.
The report also added that she might be more excited about going to school alongside Prince George than the summer holiday stretched out before her.
