La Casa De Papel Season 3, or more popularly known to Netflix international viewers as Money Heists Season 3, is dropping on the streaming platform on Friday, July 19. In the new installment, the gang plans to carry out its most inspired and inventive heist yet with the original members taking part in the job.

According to ForbesMoney Heist season 3 opens two years after the gang's last job at the Spanish mint. They managed to escape that operation and ended up with billions of money on the bag.

However, in Money Heist season 2, one of their own was captured by the Spanish police and thus will have to be rescued. This will be their new operation for Money Heist season 3. They have to retrieve Rio (played by Miguel Herran), who has been holed up in a secret location and tortured by Spanish goons.

The trailer for Money Heist season 3 hints just as much about the rescue. This time it's not about amassing lots of money but saving one of their own.

According to Distractify, a character believed to be dead in the earlier episodes of Money Heist will be making a surprise appearance. The Professor (Álvaro Morte) will meet up Berlin (played by Pedro Alonso) in Italy because he needs all the help he can get to save Rio.

Berlin was last seen in Money Heist season 1, making the ultimate sacrifice. He was shot several times as his team tried to escape the police. It was later revealed that Berlin suffered from degenerative disease as a result of what he did. He is surviving by taking a strong medication every day, but doctors have said he's got less than two years to live.

So, what will his state be like in Money Heist season 3? Will he be in the right frame of mind and physical health when he helps out The Professor? Or it this just part of a flashback scene?

Meanwhile, ahead of the premiere of Money Heist season 3 on Netflix, the show has been renewed for season 4. Creator Alex Pina confirmed via Variety that production has begun for the next installment, which is expected to drop on the streaming platform in 2020. He also hinted that some of the original characters would not be in it, which means some of them might meet their end in Money Heist season 3.
