Prince Harry's older brother Prince William is reportedly upset that Archie Harrison's baptism has caused a lot of issues with the press. The heir to the throne is said to be blaming Meghan Markle for what has happened.

According to Us Weekly, the Duke of Cambridge thinks that his younger brother and his wife are "going overboard" with trying to keep Archie off the royal spotlight. Prince William reportedly "doesn't approve" of how Prince Harry and Meghan are handling this.

The Sussex couple has announced via Buckingham Palace that the baptism of their first-born son, held last July 6, would be without media fanfare. They also said that the names of the godparents would not be revealed.

Sources also say that the decision to privatize the affair stemmed from Meghan's exposure to Hollywood. Thus, she has been criticized for behaving like a celebrity A-lister than a royal with duties to the public. However, some think that it's Prince Harry who's adamant about privacy, given what has happened to their mother, Princess Diana.

Prince Harry and Meghan wish to raise Archie as a private citizen. However, the media in the U.K., as well as some royal watchers, believe that they are entitled to know details about this young boy's life because the royals are supported by public funding.

"Meghan can't demand privacy for baby Archie while asking the public to fund her family's lifestyle," a royal watcher said, per CNN. "They can't have it both ways. Either they are private, pay for their own house and disappear out of view, or play the game the way it is played."

Some royal fans defend Prince Harry and Meghan's decision, though. While Prince William and Kate Middleton have not kept the baptism of their kids -- Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis -- a private affair, this is not the norm among the British royals. In most cases, baptisms in this family have always been a family event and not meant for public spectacle. Only Prince William and Kate have obliged the public with their children's milestones.

Meanwhile, despite the alleged misunderstandings between the dukes, their children are reportedly close to each other. According to reports, Princess Charlotte loves to be around her baby cousin Archie so much, and she would always ask about him.

Sources say that Prince George and Princess Charlotte dote on their baby cousin. The princess treats Archie like a doll, and once he's a lot older, he will likely spend a lot of time playing with his cousins.
