Cast members of the hit series "Big Little Lies", Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, and Meryl Streep, were reported to have a misunderstanding. Reports said that other cast members were worried that they'd be written out of the series after Meryl Streep joined the show in the second season.

Speculations were initiated by the report of the Life & Style magazine who reported that the two younger characters felt that with so much star wattage already on the show, and Streep being added to the cast, there was only so much screen time available for them.

According to In Touch, Kidman and Streep were feuding on the set of the TV series. The report added that the conflict got so intense that HBO executives met to figure out how to fix it before it goes out of hand. The tabloid claimed that Kidman felt like she was the star of the show and she is beginning to feel threatened by the presence of Streep. It also claimed that some of the cast members sided with the newcomer and they were looking to push Kidman out of the show.

Another article by Woman's Day said that Kidman was dumped by her co-stars, Reese Witherspoon, and Laura Dern, in the hit series. The tabloid said that after Dern and Witherspoon had dinner together in Los Angeles while Kidman was away promoting Aquaman, the Australian actress was "crushed" and felt "left out in the cold."

Months ago, Star released an article saying that Kidman and Witherspoon were competing for awards and the spotlight during the second season of "Big Little Lies." The magazine claimed that going into season two Witherspoon was still bitter about all the praise Nicole received. She was reported to push for her storyline on the show, as well as the campaign to be nominated for best actress.

All of these allegations were debunked by the Gossip Cop. A production insider of the news network said that the claim that Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, and Meryl Streep have an issue is bogus. It is also untrue that Kravitz and Woodley feared to lose their roles because of Streep since they are still on the show.

There is also no truth that Kidman and Streep are involved in a feud since a representative of both Kidman and Streep said that the report was made-up and the two remained friends to his day. Witherspoon, Dern, and Kidman also openly praised each other and their friendship on social media.
