Siren season 2 episode 15 is the second to the last episode of the season. With what has been going on so far, the penultimate episode is aptly titled "Sacrifices." But who will be making the biggest one of all and at what cost?
According to the episode synopsis of Siren season 2 episode 15, Ryn (played by Eline Powell) will finally encounter the journalist who has been forming his own damaging theories about the mermaids. Their face-to-face has been described as a "desperate end," which hints that the mermaids' secret could finally be exposed to the rest of the world.
Ben (played by Alex Roe) and Xander (played by Ian Verdun), on the other hand, will need to deal with Chris' (played by Chad Rook) ties to the military. However they decide to play this out, there will be big repercussions for humans and mermaids alike. So which species will the boys, especially Ben, sacrifice for?
A teaser for Siren season 2 episode 15 hints that Chris could have mermaid DNA. And as he seems to have had a temporary memory loss, the episode will also have to answer how he got out of the facility.
Meanwhile, Helen (played by Rena Owen) and Maddie (played by Fola Evans-Akingbola) bravely try to approach the hybrids for help as Ryn and the mermaids run out of options. The girls decide on this drastic move as the threat of extinction for the mermaids loom.
Another clip for Siren season 2 episode 15 shows Maddie telling Ryn about IVF. However, how will they help Ryn if she cannot be brought to the fertility clinic and she could be in danger with the military?
Amid all these efforts to preserve the mermaid race in Siren season 2 lies the preservation of Ryn's relationship with Ben and Maddie. Are the three still alright despite the emotional, physical and mental aggravation they have been going through to save a species?
