"Pokemon Go" has a new research quest that entails battling against Team Rocket and capturing the powerful Shadow Pokemon. Earlier, Niantic Labs removed the Team Rocket and Shadow Pokemon in the game but now, they are back including the introduction of the A Troubling Situation Research Tasks. This is an expansion of the Team Rocket Event and offers massive rewards for active players.
As recently revealed, the Team Rocket Grunts are positioned on the PokeStops of "Pokemon Go" and can be easily identified because they are discolored on the map. Additionally, the PokeStops can be easily identified because of the erratic movement that they give off when clicked on, which triggers a Pokemon battle. After you have vanquished Team rocket and saved the PokeStop, you will be able to add to your collection a Shadow Pokemon.
The Shadow Pokemon needs to be purified, and you can do so by using Candy and Stardust. This process makes the Shadow Pokemon stronger and will decrease the Candy and Stardust needed to Evolve, Power Up, or learn a new Pokemon attack in "Pokemon Go." In addition, it will unlock Return, a new exclusive Charged Attack while changing the aura of the Shadow Pokemon from dark to bright luminous one. All of these feed into the new Research Quest titled A Troubling Situation.
This new Research Quest is composed of four parts that come with various rewards. It is based on the activities of the new team Rocket in "Pokemon Go" and entails players to be ready to do battle all the time. Check out the new tasks available to trainers on the iOS and Android platform.
PART ONE
In this first part of the new Research Quest in "Pokemon Go" trainers are required to evolve 2 Pokemon in preparation for the Murkrow encounter. They are also required to power up their pocket monster five times to prepare for the encounter with Sableye. As for the rewards, trainers who are able to complete the first part of the new Research Quest will get 1 time 1,000 XP and 1,000 Stardust.
PART TWO
In the second part of the new Research Quest of "Pokemon Go" trainers must catch a couple of Shadow Pokemon for the encounter with Ekans. In addition, they have to defeat three Team Rocket Grunts to prepare for the encounter with Koffing. Players who are able to complete the second part of the quest will get five Golden Razz Berries, 2,000 XP, and 2,000 Stardust.
PART THREE
The third part of the new Research Quest will require trainers to purify three Shadow Pokemon using 3,000 Stardust. Also, "Pokemon Go" trainers will have to purify a Grass, Fire, and Water type Shadow Pokemon for 3,000 XP. Completing this part will reward players with five Silver Pinap Berries, one Rare Candy, and 2000 Stardust.

PART FOUR
For the fourth part of the new Research Quest of "Pokemon Go," trainers will claim three rewards including two 1,000 Stardust and 1,000 XP. For the final rewards, trainers will get three Rare Candy, one Fast TM, and one Charged TM.
