Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, will likely cut off her mother, Doria Ragland, from her life next. Her half-brother Thomas Markle Jr. believes this will happen one day so he is urging the Queen or Prince Charles to step up in their family squabble.

Speaking with Daily Mirror, Thomas Jr. said that someone in the palace has to cut in and convince Meghan "to make amends with her father and family." Otherwise, the problems could continue and affect Meghan's mom.

"She gets a day here, a day there...that's about it," Thomas Jr. said of Meghan's relationship with Doria. "That's probably the next relationship that's going to fall off the map."

However, Doria is a significant figure in Meghan's life even now as she's the wife of Prince Harry. She was present during the birth of their son, Archie Harrison, and she was also at the baby boy's christening.

According to reports, Thomas Jr. hasn't seen his half-sister for years. He also told the press that he doesn't know this sister he grew up with since she became a royal.

Thomas Jr doesn't think Meghan will make an effort to be with their father if something critical happens to him. But the half-brother also warned that this would not be something she could live with.

The Duchess of Sussex has cut off her family ever since his father's antics before her royal wedding to Prince Harry last May 2018. He staged some photos with the paparazzi to get money from it, which the palace severely frowned upon. Meghan later wrote him a heartfelt letter telling her father that he broke her heart thus he was not able to go to her wedding.

Since the wedding, Meghan's dad has lamented that he has been unfairly treated by her daughter and the royals. He continues to hold paid interviews and told The Sun that criminals have been pardoned and accepted by their family better than him, when he had been a good father to Meghan.

Thomas Markle Sr. met Doria four years after his divorce from his first wife, who is the mother of Thomas Jr. and oldest daughter Samantha. His relationship with Meghan's mother, however, lasted for less than a decade. He currently lives in Mexico.

Apart from her mom, no one from her family was at Archie's christening and this. Reports reveal that the Sussex royals did not invite Thomas Sr. to witness and meet his grandson.
