It only a matter of weeks before Good Trouble Season 2 ends. Although the number of episodes for the current run is yet to be revealed, many are theorizing that it will follow the same number that the pilot run obtained. And if this happens, then there will be a total of six episodes left.
Aside from the assumptions made based on the show's number patterns, the plot of the current season has also become a tell that things are already approaching its conclusion. This is why the majority of the fandom is now wondering if Good Trouble will continue its run for the third season.
Unsurprisingly, Freeform has yet to disclose its renewal decisions concerning the show. According to TV Series Finale, there are no further updates yet about the show's future. Even so, the viewership ratings and numbers can be essentially utilized to get an idea if it will still receive a green light from the network.
When the pilot season of Good Trouble arrived on Freeform, it performed neutrally. It did not "light up" the ratings, but it still delivered enough entertainment and good reception. This is why it is no doubt as to why it received a new season order.
However, things had changed when it entered its second run. Unfortunately, Season 2 had a major decline in terms of viewership numbers and ratings ever since the premiere of the new season. It obtained a 50-percent decrease in numbers. And this is not a great sign for the show.
After airing seven episodes, the current season seems to have remained its performance. So, there is no direct tell whether the series will be granted a new season order or not. But whatever the case, the loyal fanbase has remained hopeful and positive for the show's future.
As of the moment, Good Trouble Season 2 is now seven episodes deep. And based on its course as per Cartermatt, Callie might face new challenges that will provide new doors of opportunities for her that can "change" her life.
A lot of the fans are looking forward to Callie's storyline. And this is in consideration of all the trials and hardships that she had faced a few episodes ago. As for Mariana, she is still in the process of discovering what happened with the former engineer.
Good Trouble Season 2 Episode 8 titled, Disruptions, is set to air on August 6, on Freeform.
