It looks like Emperor Sheev Palpatine isn't the only original villain that will show up in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. One of the biggest symbols of the Galactic Empire could be a major presence in the highly anticipated sequel. However, it's not going to be similar to Starkiller Base. The First Order is reportedly bringing back the Death Star in Star Wars Episode 9 but with a shocking twist.

The Death Star has been a huge presence in almost every Star Wars movie starting with A New Hope. Although the first one was destroyed, it was later revealed that the Empire has worked on Death Star II in Return of the Jedi. Not surprisingly, the First Order tried to replicate the plans yet again in Star Wars: The Force Awakens when Starkiller Base was revealed. So is it possible that there is an even bigger weapon of mass destruction that will be introduced in Star Wars Episode 9?

A new leak points out that Emperor Sheev Palpatine possibly had an interesting new secret weapon that could be revealed in The Rise of Skywalker. The report suggests that the Emperor had commissioned a fleet that has been hiding in the Unknown Regions all this time. However, the fleet could finally be found by Kylo Ren and taken into the First Order to help wipe out the final survivors of the Resistance. Interestingly, the fleet could have a powerful feature that will be a nod to the Death Star.

According to the leak, the fleet will consist of starships that will have "planet-destroying weapons like the one on the Death Star itself." This means that these so-called Star Destroyers will be like smaller versions of the Death Star, all of which are fully capable to decimating entire planets all on their own. If this is true, it could mean that the First Order will be even more powerful in The Rise of Skywalker. It's an interesting addition to the Order's lineup will now includes the Sith Troopers.

The Sith Troopers were previously confirmed ahead of the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con. The new Storm Troopers are said to be an elite force that could be protecting a truly important leader of the First Order. It is possible that they will be watching out for Kylo Ren, who is currently the Supreme Leader. However, there is also a possibility that they will be protecting Emperor Shee Palpatine, who is set to return in Star Wars Episode 9.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will premiere on December 20.
