Ahead of Lover's release later this month, a selected few have been given a chance to attend the album's Secret Session by Taylor Swift. This Secret Session was held in London, on August 2.
Loyal and "hardcore" fans of the pop star know how huge attending the secret sessions. In every album, one of these events is held to give a "sneak peek" of the upcoming album. And since Lover is just a few weeks away from its release, there is no better time to do it than today.
A Taylor Swift "Secret Session" normally invites up to 100 guests. Although there is no specific number revealed for the most recent session, other key details about the event have been uncovered.
According to People, most of the attendees shared a few things on their respective social media accounts. While Taylor Swift has been revealed to request the fans to keep from "spilling" and spoiling things, it seemingly appears that she allowed them to give hints and teasers.
Based on the general reception, all of the attendees "loved" all 18 tracks of Lover. Some of the fans have mentioned that the three released singles from the same album are just the tips of the iceberg. And if "vulnerability" is being talked about, The Archer is just the base of them all.
Other fans have also hinted that all 18 tracks offer different tones and dynamic. Not to mention, they also pointed out that there will be "something for everyone." But all in all, attendees of the Secret Session agree to this - Lover is "amazing."
Aside from hearing the tracks of Lover, the session also allowed the fans to meet Taylor Swift. According to Hollywood Life, Taylor is revealed to wear a blue top and "white striped" button-down, a white cardigan, and a pair of jean shorts. And the look is well-complemented by her signature red lips.
Attendees are also treated with various personalized snacks. There were rice crispies made by Taylor herself as per reports. And there were M&M's with the word "Lover" on them. Some came in the shape of a heart.
The guests also pointed out that they got to leave with white tote bags with the Lover prints on them - "Lover Secret Sessions 2019." In it, a commemorative item is included as well as a few pins that largely exhibit the album's theme.
Lover is set to be released on August 23.
