Fans are about to see Ray Donovan Season 7 on a new timeslot after Showtime announced its official release date. The much-loved professional fixer will be seen earlier than usual compared to the previous seasons.
Ray Donovan Season 7 will be out on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 8/7c, per TVGuide. This is a new and earlier time compared to its schedule in the previous seasons.
In the new season, Ray (Liev Schreiber) will do his best to be the man that his family needs. Although he will be making progress working with Dr. Amiot (Alan Alda), the dangers of the past will return to force Ray to do his old ways.
Ray will find it hard to balance fixing for his clients and himself with New York City mayor Ed Feratti (Zach Grenier), NYPD officers, and new and old clients around. Also, Ferratti's corruption will bring Mickey's (Jon Voight) past to New York that will force Ray to look for the answers to his questions.
Bunchy (Dash Mihok), on the other hand, will hope to begin anew as he bunks in Ray's apartment and works at a pharmacy. Terry (Eddie Marsan) will be offered with a new, unconventional healing opportunity.
Also, Daryll (Pooch Hall) will have a hard time figuring out his place in the Donovan family. Bridget (Kerris Dorsey) and Smitty (Graham Rogers) will also face the realities of being married in Ray Donovan Season 7.
According to Den of Geek, the new season will remain to be set in New York after Ray moved to the country following being saved by Mac (Domenick Lombardozzi), a Staten Island cop. Ray befriended the media mogul Sam Winslow (Susan Sarandon), who wanted Anita Novak (Lola Glaudin) to be the next mayor. As Ray is a professional fixer, he usually does the dirty works for the top players.
Mickey is looking for Ray for revenge, while Ray's daughter, Bridget, advises her father to distance himself from his dad because of the chaos he brings. Things seemed to be safer when Mickey was in jail, although he had ratted out everyone who put him behind bars.
Aside from Schreiber, fans will also see Eddie Marsan, Dash Mihok, Katherine Moennig, Pooch Hall, Devon Bagby, and Graham Rogers in Ray Donovan Season 7. David Hollander, Mark Gordon, Bryan Zuriff, and Lou Fusaro executive produced the show, which created by Ann Biderman.
Once again, Ray Donovan Season 7 will have an earlier timeslot, every 8 p.m. on Showtime, starting on Nov. 17. The network also announced the release date of Shameless Season 10 on Nov. 3 and the final season of Homeland on Feb. 9, 2020, at the recent 2019 Summer TCA press tour.
