Taylor's seventh album, Lover, will be released on August 23. But ahead of its release, a lot has happened already. And it seems that the fans are getting a whole new vibe from the album and from the singer herself.
The ME! artist started hinting her seventh album earlier this year. And as per reports, she revealed that the plans even started way back during the Reputation tour. Although this is already a huge tell that something is "changing" with her, it did not become the sole basis as to why Lover will be the best.
Before ME!'s arrival back in April, Taylor Swift released a series of hints and clues on her social media accounts pertaining to the upcoming album. While being subtle, of course, the fans immediately noticed that something is up. And when the album's lead-off single has dropped, it surprised everyone.
From Reputation's "scaly" and dark image, the upcoming album offers a much more "playful" and colorful vibe. And this does not only pertain to the themes of the album but to Taylor herself as well. And as every fan knows it, many love the sweet, light, and colorful Tay-tay.
Accordingly, this only goes to show how the artist feels toward her album. And as per Buzzfeed, she's all too happy, "secure," and "in lover" recently which is quite different than the previous album. And this already speaks volume.
Also, many fans have pointed out how Taylor Swift has become so much more open towards Lover. If anyone would recall her state during the Reputation era, one could easily spot the difference.
But aside from the huge changes in terms of the artist herself, the album itself also offers new and exciting tracks. Although this is not to say that her previous albums are not exciting, Lover's tracks catch the attention of many due to its advocacies. Not to mention, she has been receiving a lot of accolades and breaking records through Lover's tracks even before the actual release.
As of the time being, there are three tracks that have been released already: ME!, which largely inspires the listeners toward being in love with themselves; You Need To Calm Down, which encourages people against bullies and supports LGBTQ; and The Archer, or also known as the "Track 5" of Lover, that speaks of Taylor's "vulnerabilities" and self-reflections.
There are a lot more reasons the fans could tell as to why they bill the upcoming album as the best. But the most apparent of all is due to the fact that Lover brings back a much better, bolder, and happier Taylor Swift.
