The previous episode of Killjoys Season 5 has shown The Lady's eagerness to take over the Westerly. And with her plans intact, the final moments of the Three Killjoys and A Lady episode reveals that Lucy and the trio are marching toward a maximum security prison.
While the trio, of course, cannot work out their plans inside the prison, Den of Geek has asserted that the upcoming episodes will surely feature an "escape" mode for the progression of the final run. And right after the release of the official synopsis, it seemingly appears that this will actually happen in the next episode of Killjoys Season 5.
As per Cartermatt, the upcoming episode titled, Ship Outta Luck, will focus on the trio's escape from the maximum prison. Although it is not stated if they will succeed, it is revealed that they will try to "McGyver" their plans for escape.
With Killjoys premise and dynamic, having a sci-fi type of attributes is just suitable. And bringing a "McGyver" type of episode will be simply fitting to the episode. In fact, the publication further asserted that it could be one of the best highlights of the final run of the show.
In considering that the episode is all about escaping a maximum prison, it is not difficult and unusual for the avid viewers to see a Prison-Break type of course as well. And as any fan would take it, it is expected to provide a very thrilling and exciting plot. This is why it has been reported that the upcoming episode of Killjoys Season 5 will definitely be a mixture of McGyver and Prison Break episode.
Although there are no certainties if the trio's plan will succeed, there is no doubt that they will be able to escape the prison. The only thing that is uncertain is whether it will happen next week or the following week after. Even so, there is no doubt that Season 5 will not end inside a maximum prison.
It is also worth noting that the final run of the series is set to have a total of ten episodes. And with the fourth one on the way, this means that series is now approaching its mid-season run.
Accordingly, many of the fans are much more expecting now for the show to incorporate surprising and thrilling storylines in the plot. But since the show has never been known to disappoint as per reports, then the series will surely end in a very satisfying manner.
