Read at your own risk: This article contains spoilers for Fear The Walking Dead Season 5.
Fear The Walking Dead has become a very popular spin-off series to its main franchise, The Walking Dead. When the show first aired on AMC, it easily caught the eyes of the fans considering its premise of being a prequel to the popular The Walking Dead.
But as the story progresses over the years, it seems that the fans are not satisfied with the course that it is taking. And recently, Forbes has released a headline that questions the fifth run of the show.
According to the report, most of the fans today are quite confused with what's really happening on Fear The Walking Dead Season 5. After killing Clark "left and right" on the fourth season, which actually received negative reception, the series became so much more "baffling."
While the series has been already renewed for a new season, the fans can no longer apprehend the show's future. And as it happens, the current season has received the lowest rating among all the installments of the show.
As of the moment, Fear The Walking Dead is now on a three-week hiatus. And with only a week left before the second half of the season returns, the fans are wondering if the series could still return to its "original" state where it can provide entertaining and thrilling courses.
During the mid-season finale, it has been revealed that the characters are now suffering a huge fuel loss. And upon entering an agreement with Logan to find an oil field and produce gasoline, it seemingly appears that the show is already heading towards the real before-events of The Walking Dead.
Also, there are speculations that the upcoming episode will then feature the situation of having no fuel in the area. And this means that a much worse turnout of event will then happen in the course of Fear The Walking Dead Season 5.
But while most of the fans are really making their "disappointments" known to the public, others, however, are enjoying the "side" entertainment that the series has recently offered. As it happened, during its long hiatus, they have released the so-called Althea Tapes videos on the series' official YouTube channel.
According to Cartermatt, the Althea Tapes featured Clark, Cj, and Earl's characters along with their backstories. And for any loyal fan who has remained positive toward the show, these videos are entertainingly great. Even so, some of the fans are pretty hopeful that the series would return with a much more impressive and clear course.
Fear The Walking Dead Season 5 will return on August 11, on AMC.
