BTS has fully taken advantage of their success and had been working nonstop. Knowing fully well that K-pop is a very competitive industry, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook made sure that they will not take every opportunity for granted.
With that said, BTS works around the clock. However, their label Big Hit Entertainment has officially announced that Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are going to take a break and asked fans to respect the privacy of each member.
K-pop fans just can’t get enough of their idols and would always want to know every update about them. Some would even go to the extreme just to see their favorite artists. This is exactly the reason why Big Hit Entertainment felt the need to request for some privacy for the BTS members.
The agency took to Twitter to share the announcement. The note read: “We would like to announce that for the first time since their debut, BTS will be going on an official and extended period of rest and relaxation.” The group was formed in 2013. So, that means Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have been working nonstop for six years.

Big Hit Entertainment then noted that the “Lotte Duty Free Family Concert” will be their last scheduled event for now. The label explained that, since the boys “have relentless driven themselves towards their goal since their debut,” this will be the moment for BTS to experience what people their age do outside the industry.
“During this time, the member will rest and recharge in their own personal ways,” Big Hit Entertainment shared. “Should you have a chance encounter with a member of BTS while they are on vacation, we ask that you show consideration for their need to rest and enjoy their private time off.” The company then assured the fans that Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook would “return refreshed and recharged.”
BTS is known for their hard work and perseverance, but even the most hardworking individual needs a break. Although ARMYs would miss seeing the boys on stage or in any appearances, they do believe that they need and deserve this extended time off.
