Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin shocked everyone when they got engaged last year. Since Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez shippers were still hoping for a Jelena reunion, the revelation caught a lot of people off guard.
As if that’s not enough, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin obtained a marriage license in September 2018, making them an official Mr. and Mrs. just two months after they announced their engagement. Although the 22-year-old model and television personality initially denied that they were married, the “Love Yourself” singer eventually confirmed their marriage in November 2018.
Now, multiple reports claim that the pair are expecting their first child together. If this is indeed true, it won’t be that much of a surprise considering the fact that Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin had a lot of shockers throughout their relationship.
However, Gossip Cop stated that while it is a normal thing for Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin to add a baby to their family, the couple is not expecting their firstborn — at least not for now. These pregnancy speculations started when the 25-year-old singer, songwriter, actor, and rapper previously shared in an interview that, “By 25 or 26, I want to see myself, like, married or start looking for a family.”
Some tabloids took this interview way too seriously, especially because Justin Bieber did get married around that age that he mentioned. But the “As Long As You Love Me” singer took to Instagram back in July to tell fans that even though he’s looking forward to parenthood, he and Hailey are not in a rush to get there just yet.
“Love dates with you baby,” Justin Bieber captioned the snap. “One day I’ll be doing daddy daughter dates….. not hinting at anything soon I’m not in a rush. I just wanna enjoy you by yourself for a while!“
As for Hailey Baldwin, she previously shared that she loves kids and couldn’t wait to have her own. However, it seems that the couple is taking things slow and just enjoying themselves as husband and wife. The pair is still very much active in their careers, which appears to be their priority right now aside from their marriage.
