Brad Pitt has been in the entertainment industry for over three decades, and anyone would agree that he is one of the most popular actors in Hollywood. He first gained recognition in the 1991 flick Thelma & Louise, then starred in some of the most iconic movies in Tinseltown such as Fight Club, Troy, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Ocean’s Eleven, and more.
Despite being in show business for so long, Brad Pitt is still considered an in-demand actor until now. However, a new report claims that the 55-year-old actor-film producer is ready to switch gears.
According to NW, Brad Pitt, who the tabloid’s source described as a “frustrated musician,” is turning to Snoop Dogg to start a music career. “Brad was telling Snoop he’s been playing lots of guitar and Snoop invited him to his recording studio. They have been pals for years, and Snoop is keen to write some music for Brad,” the insider claimed.
However, Gossip Cop quickly debunked the story, stating that there is no truth to the claim. The site noted that Brad Pitt’s representative said that the NW story is nothing but pure fabrication. It even shared that the said publication has been known for making up stories several times already.
The Brad Pitt and Snoop Dogg connection started when the 47-year-old rapper gave Brad a shoutout on Instagram last month. The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper posted a snap of him and the actor with the caption, “Great man great friend in a great movie that’s about. To drop….”
The vague caption appeared to inspire the tabloid to take it out of context and concluded that Brad Pitt is going to team up with Snoop Dogg to make music. Gossip Cop pointed out that although Brad and Snoop are good pals, their relationship is pure friendship and nothing work-related.
The only possibility for Brad Pitt and Snoop Dogg to appear in one screen is if the rapper will star in one of Brad’s future films, or the actor will be featured in one of Snoop’s future music videos.
Also, it is worth noting that it’s kind of hard to imagine Brad Pitt switching careers since he is still very actively acting. He just recently released a movie Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, which also starred Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, Emile Hirsch, Al Pacino, and more.
