Things will be darker and funnier in the coming The Order Season 2. At the recent San Diego Comic-Con, creator Dennis Heaton and co-writer Shelley Eriksen shared some written materials of the new season ahead of the show's production.
The new season's filming has yet to begin, but Heaton and Eriksen have been generous enough to give fans a glimpse of the upcoming scenes. Here, Vera (Katherine Isabelle) will confront the disciples over the alleged use of magic during the magical moratorium, which will result in a classmate's "spontaneous combustion," per Pop Culture.
Alyssa (Sarah Grey), on the other hand, will make a suggestion about the rogue practitioners that can be the force behind the spell. Also, Gabrielle (Louriza Tronco) will play dumb with Hamish (Thomas Elms) after he gets a blue rose, which is an indication of an invitation to the secret society of the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose in The Order Season 2.
Gabrielle will confront Hamish about the secret society as he questions its existence. Of course, there will be werewolf drama and blood from the new initiates in the new season.
Jack (Jake Manley) and Alyssa are both expected to return to The Order Season 2 to once again lead the show. By the looks of it, there are still a lot of possibilities about their relationship that need to be explored.
Manley teased they are about to bring more in the second installment. "Thank you to everyone that watched - we're bringing you more!!" he said on Instagram when he announced the coming of the new season.
In an interview with TV Goodness, Heaton said Manley was one of the "big casting nets" thrown out to Los Angeles, Vancouver, and Toronto. In choosing the cast members, the creator went on to say they just went through everybody they could find to find the perfect Alyssa and Jack for the series. From here, the casting fell into its right place.
The series followed the story of the college student Jack, who joined the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose. When he entered the underground battle between the werewolves and dark arts, he learned its magic and dark secrets.
However, Netflix has yet to announce when The Order Season 2 will be out. But as the production is set to begin this summer in Vancouver, there is a big possibility that it will be released sometime in 2020.
