Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox are rumored to be feuding after Jen found out that her best friend attended her ex-husband, Justin Theroux's birthday celebration.

The report which originally came from Woman's Day hinted at the discord between the best friends because Jen reportedly felt betrayed by Courtney's lack of loyalty to their friendship. The report, which cited a source, indicated that while Courtney and Justin got along well during his marriage to Jennifer Aniston, the latter felt that the friendship should stop after the split.

The source said that Courtney's close relationship to Justin came as a major blow to Jen because most of their friends sided with her after the split. Surprisingly, it was Courtney who chose to maintain a friendship with Justin even though she was the closest person to Jen.

Gossip Cop has debunked the rumors by verifying the reports from Jen's representative. According to her camp, the report was complete nonsense. The insiders further clarified that Jen and Justin are on good terms and that she has no problems if Courtney remains close with her ex.

According to the outfit, this was not the first time that such rumors have surfaced about best friends Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox. A previous report indicated that Jen was getting ready to end things with her long-term bestie because she jokes around with Justin on Instagram. Another hinted that Jen became enraged when she found out that Courtney was spending time in New York with her ex. However, both rumors have been proven false by the besties' constant outings.

Jen and Justin recently reunited to celebrate a meaningful event. The ex-couple paid their last respects to their dog Dolly, whom they shared and treated like family during the time they were together, Harper's Bazaar reported.

"Tonight, at sunset, after a heroic struggle ... our most loyal family member and protector, Dolly A. laid down her sword and shield. She was surrounded by her entire family," Justin posted on his Instagram when he and Jen held a funeral for their beloved family member.

On her birthday this year, Justin also posted on Instagram his sweet birthday message, which was short but held a world full of meaning. In his brief message, he simply used a heart emoji to say Love you, B.

When Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux ended their two-year marriage in 2018, the couple maintained that the parting was a loving and mutual decision.
